The Core Competency Intensive courses are aptly named. While these lab-style courses address all coaching competencies, each one provides an enhanced focus on one critical area of coaching competence.
Registration is limited to no more than seven students to facilitate the seminar/instruction/lab format and meet group mentor coaching requirements. Examples of the various focus CCI courses have addressed include the following. We offer 2-3 CCI courses each year.
- Coaching Mindset
- Evoking Awareness
- Co-Creating the Relationship
- Direct Communication (and laser coaching)
- Client Agreements
- Managing Progress and Accountability
While addressing the coaching strategies for clients with ADHD or other brain-based conditions (including the effects of chronic stress or pain) is part of every Coach Approach course, there are two CCI courses which are specific to clients with ADHD and associated challenges. LINK
CCI: Advanced Practices in Accountability
Based on the PAAC (Professional Association of ADHD Coaches) ADHD Core Coaching Competencies (as well as ICF’s), this course is required for the Certified ADHD Organizer Coach and the Certified ADHD Productivity Coach credentials. It’s an alternate for all other credentials.
