Core Competency Intensive:
ADHD
Learn how core competencies connect to the distinct specialty of ADHD coaching.
Guidance and Key Learning for Coaching Clients with ADHD
This ADHD Core Competency Intensive (CCI:ADHD) course equips students with specialized coaching strategies tailored to clients with ADHD and other brain-based differences, such as the impact of chronic stress.
Designed to bridge the gap between the International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching competencies and the advanced application of skills needed to transform the lives of individuals with executive functioning challenges, this course provides the tools to create meaningful change.
This is the required mentor coaching course for the Certified Neurodiversity Coach™, Professional Certified Neurodiversity Coach™, Certified ADHD Organizer Coach, and Certified ADHD Productivity Coach credentials; it also serves as an elective for all other certifications.
This course follows the format of all of our Core Competencies Intensives Courses:
- Delivered in a seminar/instruction/lab format.
- The centerpiece of each class is an authentic coaching session with students in the coach and client roles
- Time to check-in on the challenges students are noticing with their own clients
- Classes are recorded for review
Although our Mentor/Lab courses are designed to support students who are working to secure recorded coaching sessions for a credential, you do not need to be pursuing coach certification to take or benefit from this course.
Our mentor/lab-style courses are open to Coach Approach Foundation Training graduates as well as coaches trained elsewhere who have 60+ hours of coach-specific training and 100 paid client hours.
