Cameron Gott, PCC
Meet Cameron Gott, PCC

Cameron Gott, PCC, is the co-founder of Coach Approach Training Institute (CATI). Collaborating closely with Denslow Brown, he has played a central role in developing the curriculum and supervising new faculty members. Cameron is the primary architect of several core models used throughout the CATI curriculum.

With a background in education, Cam began his coach training in 1998, two years after his own ADHD diagnosis, and later completed certification through the rigorous program at The Coaches Training Institute. At the same time he completed a second training program through the Optimal Functioning Institute. It was at OFI that he first met Denslow Brown while facilitating a coaching lab together. The rest, as they say, is history. He is a sought-after presenter at international ADHD conferences, where his presentations are consistently popular, and is the 2023 winner of the ADHD Coaches Organization Professional Excellence Award.

As an ADHD coach (CameronGott.com), Cam specializes in working with professionals who seek to align their actions with their intentions and elevate their impact both personally and professionally. In addition to coaching adults with ADHD, he also mentors ADHD coaches in training. He co-hosted the acclaimed podcast Translating ADHD for five years with CATI graduate Asher Collins and still authors the Global Creative blog, where he addresses a broad range of ADHD-related topics. He is also the co-author, along with fellow CATI trainer Casey Moore, of the e-book Curious Accountability: Three Coaching Conversations for Better Client Results.

In addition to his efforts at CATI he has ‘loaned’ his training services over the last 20 years to other ADHD coach training programs. He is currently exploring the nexus of leadership, emotional intelligence, resilience and ADHD coaching through a variety of avenues including the popular Positive Intelligence coaching program and the Center for ADHD Coaching Excellence with Tamara Rosier.

For over a decade, Cam served as the senior trainer for CATI’s introductory course, Coaching Essentials. He taught foundation courses for nearly 20 years, continues teaching Life & ADHD Coaching, and currently instructs advanced curriculum, including Coaching the ADHD Client, the monthly advanced seminar Fostering Mindful Change, and various mentor-lab courses. He is excited to be an integral part of this next chapter of CATI’s program.

A self-described life long learner, Cam often tells his students that he “teaches to learn” and that coaching is much more than just a profession–it is a calling. He lives with his wife Kristi and two children in Charlottesville, Virginia.
